Yous might remember before about me saying about 2 neglected ponies at the yard. Ive re-reported it as they now seem to be sick. I went in to see them and one tried to neigh but sounded more like a goat or sheep call. Even though im giving them hay they arent really eating, all they seem to want to do is drinking. Im filling their water dish 3-4 times per day, YO has now got a drinker up in the stable so no longer have to fill the dish

One has a bald patch on its neck near the size of my hand, however they are looking more and more miserable. They still havent left the stable and it hasnt been cleaned out in about a week. Their faces look very swollen and the smell from the stable is like rotten eggs.

Was talking to YOs daughter who said she reported it aswell, I dread going in to see them as im scared that someday i might find them dead.

When i reported them they said it would be after christmas before they could get up. I laid it on thick and said they may not last until after christmas. However they said that if they are getting water and feed then its not an emergency case.

Yo is a p***k, he doesnt care aslong as hes getting his money, been waiting weeks now for him to fix the drinker in Mo's stable as the pipe is leaking. So going to fix it myself and take money off the livery.

people like that really wind me up , if they dont want them why not just put them in the free ads paper , free to good home, then somone like me whos searching high and low for a cheap companion can give them a good life, jesus we all no what a smelly stable is like ,

Glad to hear you've reported them. Best of luck keeping them going over Christmas. When you find somewhere else to move to you need to get the yard owner into as much trouble as you can as well or he could allow this sort of thing to go on again.

I talked to YO today i said it was a disgrace on the owners behalf and i was disgusted that he would allow such a thing to happen in his yard. He said he talked to the owner but nothing has changed, i told him he needs to be stricter with him.

What shocked me is a owner sent a friend up today to feed them, was at the yard when i was there. OH knows the guy and the guy was horrified at the condition they were in.

Im so worried what will happen these ponies when i leave, when i reported it i did tell the guy that the YO knows what is going on but is doing nothing about it.

Im so disappointed in the rescue centre, however rest assured i will be on the phone everyday after christmas and i will be bugging them until they come out.

No one apart from OH knows i reported it, when YOs daughter said she reported them i just nodded etc lol.

Got the shock of my life today, YO, his daughter and his girlfriend handed me a christmas pressie each! Nope not rushing out to get them one in return.

Im in northern ireland, was reported to the USPCA, our version of the RSPCA. A very kind HHO member gave me a number to another rescue centre but no one is answering.

OHs dad is a police officer and he said the police will not do anything about it, they will just tell me to report it to the USPCA

Colleen thats the one i tried but got no answer. Its now starting to get me really angry. The guy is just pure lazy, he used to keep dogs too but it ended up dying as he rarely fed it either. Was at his house once and was covered in dog poo (yes inside the house).

God i just want to flippin thump him.

He was offered £100 per pony and refused it, he said they are worth £300 each and wont sell 1p under that. OH said not to offer buying them as he will just go and buy another one and treat it the same.

Anyone want to help me give him a beating??

You must be feeling sick that nobody seems to care about these poor ponies. I hope something will happen soon to help them. Well done for trying, and don't give up.

Keep going, keep badgering the USPCA and other centres until something is done.

In a way I hope these little ponies pass away silently in their sleep, NOTHING deserves to die in pain, or suffer ongoing pain.

Im definitely not going to give up, they are lovely wee things and dont deserve the way they are being treated.

When i manage to get someone out i will let yous know how it goes.

I hope you can get help for them, its so frustrating when you see them like that and nothing is done.
Theres a VERY skiny horse near our house, owner thinks its ok to leave him with no shelter and no hay in this weather, he is 30. She wont give him to anyone else to lookafter or do it properly herself. He only has a rug because some unknown horselover got him one and put it on! The rspca have let this old boy down very badly. If i could afford the fine i would steal him!
