Update on new horse / passport dilema

Some of you may recall I didnt bring my new horse home last week due his passport not being present.

His owner had kindly offered to pay the transfer fee, fine, but had took it upon himself to send it off for me too, so come the day to bring horse home , no passport!

I started thinking the worst, no passport, does he have one etc?!

Anyway, his passport arrived yesterday, so everything was above board.
So now I have everything, passport, vet cert, just need horse LOL!

I was going to have him delivered today but as luck would have it, we have 2 new horses joining our yard today, so it will be during next week he can come home now.

(we put the in the school for a few days you see, to let them have any major bickering over a fence!)

Anyway thank you for all your help and advice when I was having a panic attack!

so excited to bring hubbys ( or rather my) lovely new boy home!

Phew thats such a relief. I must admit I did think the worst for a while.

Now you can go on and get totally over excited!!!!

What a relief - must admit I thought it was a bit dodgy - especially the bit about lending you another horse's passport. Glad it all turned out well. Now you go and start spending some serious money on all the new things you will need.

Yes I was hearing major alarm bells too, thankfully for once it turned out someone WAS being honest in the horse world! A refreshing change!
