Update on orphaned foal

Don't know whether you remember but I posted about a friends orphaned foal.
Well they have found a foster mare, she is a bit grumpy but she is letting foal feed. Foal's legs are alot stronger now. At the mo they cannot leave mare alone with foal so they are still seeing to them every 2 hours. Foal still has'nt got a name but they are trying to think of something that involves Mum's name too

What great news I hope she starts to bond but I think they are right to be careful.

that's good news. hope the mare comes round... have they given her oxytocin? definitely worth it.
