well.... im rather annoyed, it could only happen to me really. prince managed to pull the shoe of the leg he was lame on (what are the chances!) so he couldnt have them today so hes having them next thursday, iv waited long enough now, just wanna know why my horse is lame, so he had his teeth done anyway and had to be sedated for the first time ever, he had big ramps at the back and wasnt helping when they were being rasped so he had two lots of sedation! :O grace on the other hand was an absolute darling!! she just stood there. and then he was shod and vet and farrier discussed more about his feet. vet said take the toe back abit shorter again, now he has very very sensitive feet so it wasnt a surprise when he was sore so farrier put the nails lower and said if hes worse by 2moro il come back out, he was still a little bit dopey at this point. turned him out by which time the sedation had worn off, went back to feed them and he couldnt move, he was rocking back onto his heels to switch the leg he was resting on, he wouldn't graze or eat his tea. he was drooling loads! so rang farrier and said he cant walk, so he came back out at 8 oclock and seated his shoes out and said his toes are very bruised, the minute they went back on with the ajustments he immedietly walked off and started grazing. i syringed sum danilon down him and left him to it. just hope he comes sound in a couple of days. gonna have to wait till next week now to find out whats causing his hind lameness. just wanna sit in a corner and eat lots of chocolate!
