Hi,
Had him scoped last wednesday and tracheal washout done, vet got the results back today which shows cells are consistent with bronchiolitis, so hes starting him on another (3rd time lucky) course of antibiotics, and something to thin the mucous, as he's not been bringing any mucous up and needs to clear it.
Increase turnout (if I put him out for 2 hours resp rate is about 26-30) as he needs to clear it...
And Carry on with ventipulmin...
BUT Vet says not consistent with the sudden onset, as symptoms only appeared over 12hours seemingly, but could be an accumulation of things and he's still batting around a metabolic disorder, or more permanent respiratory disorder, with this being secondary.
So 6 weeks on from this onset I finally have some sort of diagnosis to work with. I'm dancing round my living room
