update on riding without permission...

I got an email back from the girl who rode Chloe...she was there. They'd just been on a hack, and had gone into the school to cool off - Girl had just asked if she could have a ride on Chloe, so friend said yes.

I've just said please could she not let other people ride Chloe, as I would hate for anything to happen to the rider or horse, and for us not to know about it etc...

I honestly don't know why the person wouldn't ask me to have a go on Chloe - I would've let her, had I been there - I'm not scary at all.

Hum...anyway, from what I've seen from the replies, most people would probably have knocked out this person by now! But, I think it has all been sorted out, with no one hurt or offended.

I think I would've been more angry at the person for putting herself in danger, had my horse been badly behaved/dangerous . But she's not, and I'm so glad she's well behaved, otherwise there would've been tears!!

I had someone who rode merlin for a few weeks while i was working, who let someone else have a go on him without asking me....... this person then offered to buy him because the first one said he was up for sale........ He was sooooo not!!!

At least you found out what happened... I had something similar happen to me a while ago...

A friend of mine was looking after the yard for the weekend - as YO was away (which is rare...) a couple of weeks later a child of about 12 who sometimes came to the yard came up to me and said he had really enjoyed riding my horse

even though he fell off

- I was furious with her... as was the YO...

in fact just typing this brings it all back - and breathe....
