Well I thought I would update with ou progress so far
Would be nice to report a good end to 2011 for E and I with this injury
So we have built up now to 30mins Inhand walking, which is basically round the park and back near the stables. I have also now moved both of my horses to S's as running between two stables was really taking its tollon my time and I found I couldnt ride or keep K or Stella fit due to this.
So now that i can ride more I will be ponying E out with K as we up the time in the new year to 40 mins
So some pics of the leg, the vet will be out in the new year to scan her and tell me whats next on the agenda. Im pretty sure it will be more inhand walking but now I have Kia to pony it means I can be killing two bird with one stone and he can get fittened up gradually as well
Her feet are also due done again next week. They are growing like the clappers with her getting biotin in her dinner every night and also cornucrescine rubbed in every day. But hopefully this will mean that they come right quicker.
I am aware they are looking a bit upright (also she was standing like a twonk which isnt helpful
) but that will be rectified. Her soles are still bulging ever so slightly but she hasnt had the pads since her last shoeing three weeks ago so fingers crossed they are returning to normal
So happy me fingers crossed the vet gives me the all clear to up the walking work to the hour mark then we shall see what we have to work with
