Hi all.

I want to say a massive thank you for all your support on Monday when I found my mare in knee deep grass due to another breaking down the post and rail fencing. For any one that does not know she has severe rotation so this was my worst nightmare, I thought that was it.

Well basically I think she is going to be ok. I have had her stabled since Monday, she got a dose of ACP that night and painkillers as there was a slight pulse. She has been an absolute angel and I am so happy to report I think we are out of the woods.
Rand vet in the week as they think that we just got away with it because I acted fast.
Had the farrier tonight and he said all seems well with her foot which was absolutely brilliant news.
She has had to go back into normal shoes because her special shoes have meant bad thrush problems underneath the frog supports and in the deep clefts of her feet, am off to get peroxide in the morning for that.
Farrier did not find any obvious problems so I think all your wonderful good vibes have gone a long way. She is nothing short of miraculous that horse, I just adore her and am so pleased to say I think she may be with me a while yet.

Anyway I just wanted to log on to update you all and thank you all for your kind words and support.
My parents are due to arrive any minute so have a lovely weekend everyone and thanks again :D

Just to add so sorry to keep you all waiting, I just did not want to chance fate, I really wanted to be sure as I had the farrier today and I knew that would be very telling, I have literally just got home from there now. Sorry again to keep you guys waiting as I have just seen your kind thoughts and wondering how she was doing.
A massive thanks to you all xxx

Fantastic!! That's great news!! :) :) :)

I know I am so pleased, luck was on our side, but god that was frightening. The horse that broke down the field is in another field on her own, she is too much of a liability. We got lucky this time, but I am not taking that risk again. Thanks again for all your support everyone, that was really hard going, thought I was going to lose her as an acute attack could be the end :( But we got lucky so I hope that her foot remains to be stable as it currently seems to be.
Thanks HHO x
