For those who read my last post.......Jack was put to sleep Friday, vet was very good, and talked to him and stroked him lots so he was so settled and happy with her... It took literally 3 seconds and he was gone.. me, hubby and my 3 kids who are all in their early 20s all bawled our eyes out. He was wagging his tail till the last moment. So glad I had vet out and didn't take him into the surgery. It made it so much better for him. We buried him in the garden. Saturday morning was so tough getting up and him not being there. Anyway.. by Saturday tea time, I am now a new mummy to a very mischievous lurcher puppy.. he won't ever be like jack.. but I have not had much time to dwell on my sadness. Puppy is proving to be an absolutely gorgeous nightmare.so far he has had a go at chewing everything in the house, tried drinking a tin of gloss paint. And then dipped his legs in the tin. . Took an hour to De_gloss him. He really is the world's naughtyiest puppy. Though he has managed to be house trained in only 2 days.. he barks to go out.. wow.. he he he barks at everything else too..Thankyou all for the kind words and support.
