We just got back from the re-check at the vet's, and the corneal abrasion in her left eye has all healed

The bruises on her head and hip have gone down, too. The only thing left is bruising/cuts on the inside of her top lip. She had been wimpering when eating (not that it stopped her from stuffing her face

) and there's no to be no ball playing for the next week.

After the vet's we walked for an hour in Central Park, and she is back to attempted pigeon assassinations/hauling oversized branches (although I had to put a stop to the latter in case she hurt her mouth).

My vet and I both agree that Stella is not allowed to have any more serious accidents.

"Oh come on, woman. If I'm going to pose, you can at least learn to find the flash."

"Stella, where are you going?"
"Screw this. I'm not modelling Prince's new fleece for nobody."

So glad she is feeling better, and I agree, no more accidents Miss Stella!

Ack, go on. Every household should have at least one entertainer to complement those serious working dogs.

So glad she is on the mend . Re Prince and what he needs post ( wouldn't let me post the other night ) I think he needs a whole new wadrobe to rival Stella's . She can't be let down when out walking around NYC with her new man !!

Quite. I have gone from thinking, "Nah, pug fur is thick--he won't need a coat", to, "Oooh, this grey fleece is so practical and manly, and maybe he'll need a down jacket, too..."

I love the caption with the last picture. She's such a beautiful little lady.

Pleased to hear she's healing well. What a worrying time the last few days must have been for you all.

So glad Stella is on the mend, she looks very smart modelling her new brothers gear... Can't wait to see pics of Prince the Pug... My OH and i absolutely love the breed. They, like Stella remind me so much of my boxer Louby!!

Wow!

Seems a little bit extreme though and the "helmet" doesn't look like as if it is really designed to protect what is inside it... But as they say, everything suits a beauty so I'm sure Stella would look stunning if you really decided to get her one.
