We just got back from the re-check at the vet's, and the corneal abrasion in her left eye has all healed
The bruises on her head and hip have gone down, too. The only thing left is bruising/cuts on the inside of her top lip. She had been wimpering when eating (not that it stopped her from stuffing her face
) and there's no to be no ball playing for the next week.
After the vet's we walked for an hour in Central Park, and she is back to attempted pigeon assassinations/hauling oversized branches (although I had to put a stop to the latter in case she hurt her mouth).
My vet and I both agree that Stella is not allowed to have any more serious accidents.
"Oh come on, woman. If I'm going to pose, you can at least learn to find the flash."
"Stella, where are you going?"
"Screw this. I'm not modelling Prince's new fleece for nobody."
