My Jeep has been recovered by the Police! The thieves had it for 6 days, during which time it was spotted on 3 occasions begin driven dangerously, the last time when it was driven off from a petrol station without paying, clipping a car belonging to an off duty policeman. He contacted the traffic police who then chased it but had to abandon due to it being driven too dangerously. But it was then found abandoned next to a wood near Garlogie of Skene.
All these incidents happened around Inverurie, Hatton Of Fintray, Keith and between, so if anyone saw a black Jeep Grand Cherokee being driven by neds erratically in the last week, let me know. There is also a garage that has a car of this make and model "due in" which we have reported to the police.
Car seems fine apart from a few minor scrapes on the paintwork. But all my stuff (amounting to £1600 in total) has gone, so again, if anyone sees any adverts for particularly a black Patey Hat, fleece lined tendon and fetlock boots (one white and one black pair), show cane, old leather riding boots, URAD tack cleaning kit, be suspicious.
