I realised I haven't added photos of Tal since I got him. Tal turned 3yrs old in Apr. He's cheeky but a great personality. It took a while for him to understand he doesn't get to bite, he leads lovely but one day leading I backed him up and he didn't want to so went up. Stay calm, roll eyes and a gentle tug on rope and say down and 4 hooves on ground leading like a lamb. Back up again and he backs up lovely.
A few weeks later we got excited bunny hops off the ground, a little growl and he stops and walks nice.
We've done very little as I've been very ill since Apr. The plan over winter is to mainly long rein and walk out in the woods, in christmas tree fields and walk along the beach.
I love this not so little horse. He wants to get into everything - groom one of the others and he's there, tack up and he's there trying to nibble stirrups, get back from a hack and he's there so he's had a saddle plonked on his back a few times while loose in the field and I've had him in the school beside the mounting block and just leaned over him for a few seconds.
He's been to the beach once - the pic with sand on his muzzle was him coming down to see the sea.
