update on the Danilon ebay seller

i reported him to ebay and e-mailed him and he has just replied saying he has cancelled the sale and has told ebay - claimed he did not know it was illegal to sell them. might have something to do with me threatening to report him and ebay to the RCVS lol!

just someone trying to flog 60 sachets of Danilon on ebay for more than you would pay through a vet, or rather his starting price wasn't too bad but stupid people bidding on it shoved it up to £60!!! anyway, it's illegal to resell prescription meds, especially somewhere like ebay!

linx was given it as an anti-inflammatory i believe it is similiar to bute but not 100% sure. its available prescription only

Yes, it is a form of Bute with a quicker action and less detrimental effects on the stomach

it's a pro-drug of bute - it gets metabolised into bute in the body, but supposedly the pro-form is kinder on the stomach (dodgy scientific evidence as to whether this is really true). however, in my case it's main benefit is that it's palatable. my horse wont touch bute for love nor money, but he gobbles up the danilon no probs.
