I posted last week as I needed some advice on a new saddle. I have been recommended the Saddle Company due to how easily the saddle adjusts. My problem was the seat size. 17 inch is too long for my short backed Haflinger and 16.5 inch second hand are like hens teeth!

I bit the bullet and bought a 16 inch WH saddle. It arrived and my heart sank! It looked TINY. I am used to my 16.5 inch Wintec Wide with its more than generous everything!

I rung the fitter who was due today and asked her to bring some saddles with as there was no way this teeny little saddle would accommodate my bottom.

Anyway, she came and said it would be fine. Fitted my pony like a glove with only the minimalist bit of reflocking. I lunged him and he moved so much more freely and comfortably. Then for the moment of truth... It fit great! Plenty of room in front and behind, knees were where they should be and it was lovely and comfy. Felt a bit odd as its completely different to what I am used too but pony was very happy and relaxed so I am happy and relived!

Pointless post really but thought I'd share.
