The ILPH just gave me a ring saying they've had a look at the horses and have spoken to the owner, who according to the inspector seemed like a very good horseman. Apparently the farrier is coming out tomorrow morning do do them (coincidence eh?), but at least the owner knows the ILPH have been out and a have him on some sort of record...I'd be interested to see whether the horse's feet do get done tomorrow though, but unfortunately I'm back at uni!

Well done to the ILPH though, they've been fantastic! Very quick getting back to me and sending an inspector out...I'll be making a donation today

Glad to hear something positive has come out of you reporting these horses.

Well done

lets hope the horses feet are actually sorted out tomorrow. But as you say, the owner is now aware that ILPH are keeping an eye on his horses
could one of your family/friends walk by the field and check?

Thanks!

Might ask my mum if she can have can walk out that way and have a look...not that she has a clue about horses... But I guess anyone would be able to notice those feet!

I think you will find that the ILPH will make a follow up visit in a week or two, just to make sure that the owner has done as he says. Now that he knows that the ILPH are involved, he will probably take a lot more care of them. Well done for contacting them.
