Got the vet out, felt a bit of a prat really as it turns out shes got a splint forming on her right foreleg although must be in the very early stages as is very hardly visible and more felt by touch. Im cold hosing it for now and she has been put on bute. Seems unfair really as she doesnt get worked very hard although the vet said young tb's are particularly prone to them. What a setback

By the way, if anyone knows any tips/hints/advice for minimizing the bump / speeding up recovery i would be very grateful!
 
No advice sorry, but i know what you mean, when my sister's horse went lame as a 4 year old a splint was the last thing we checked for, as like you said he didnt do much work, never mind hard work!
