Hi all
So after my previous thread (see link http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=483673 ) i thought i would have a little look on a few horse share sites, wasn't really expecting to find too much and was thinking it would take me quite a long time to find a suitable horse to share.
Came across a suitable advert however, nice schoolmaster type stating in the ad suitible for someone like me and good to do everything with. Little bit far away but on full loan so wouldn't have to do stable duties (wouldn't normally mind but an hours drive in traffic would make that a bit of a nightmare mornings!). So been in contact with owner and oh my am going to try out said horse on Monday! EEEEK!
So....quite nervous i'm going to be totally useless/make a fool out of myself. Also thinking of course it is likely it may not work out for whatever reason, who knows if the horse is actually totally fine or not (many a few stories i've read on here!), but it could possibly turn out to be lovely.
So any advice at all really. Have just got BHS gold membership for the insurance. Will definatly not get on the horse until seen the owner ride it but i suppose if all seems well when they ride i shall have to get on and hope for the best
Unfortunatly on salad on offer
thanks all!
