Just wanted to update incase anyone remembers my thread on being anxious about leading my 18 month filly down the road and across fields to her new yard. Well I did it! Only 2 mins down the road but sods law only saw 1 vehicle which was an idiot white van who revved and bibbed his horn right up behind us then sped past too close. So mad but my girl didn't spook so proud of her. She was snorting and prancing through the fields but never felt out of control. Best bit was when I put her in her field adjoining the other mares she went straight down for grass! Went for a sniff with the others but apart from a little trot and canter around no mad running about! Settled so well I turned her out with the others next morning and again no running around she just stood by the gate until I was out of view then just wandered up to the others and grazed with them, got chased off by the alpha pony but accepted her place straight away. Wow Im amazed how adaptable she's been! Weeks of no sleep and worry for nothing!

Really glad it went so well. Phew what a relief!! And very glad that your little horse now has some company.

Well done.

Thank you! There's only 4 other mares from 7 to 20 yrs so a good mix and she's really thriving. No trying to nip me either or ear pinning which she was doing lots before obviously boredom and frustration! (which I would reprimand her for) but amazing to notice the change so quickly! Huge boost of confidence for me to! I feel like I can do anything with her now!
