My boy had the lump removed today in his throat, he was coughing then his breathing went very noisy. The lump had grown to an inch long in 2 weeks and was going from his larynx down his wind pipe. It has been sent off for testing just to be sure, but the vet is almost certain it was caused by a foreign body. I will be fetching him home tomorrow all being well :)

Soon as I hear I will let you know, the vet said it was nearly as his thumb. He has come home, still on antibiotics for 5 days and Metacam. He still makes a noise when he breaths but the vet said its normal. Just to keep an eye on him because after laser surgery his throat could swell ( more worry )

Hopefully this will be the end of your problems :) We heard more from the surgeon today and turns out Pharaoh did not completely heal from his rig operation 3 years ago, and there was still 3 or 4 undissolved stitches in there! They just have to work out if the immune dissorder was there before the op or caused by it which means they have to do yet more research.
