I've just got back from holiday and need to know what's happened while I've been away.
Has Clipcloppop popped?
How is Mrs M after her fall?
Any updates on Carrot/Spud/Little Stig?
Any other gossip from the last 10 days?

I want to hear it all!

Sorry skippy, how are you?
And everyone else, (don't want more tears

) what have you been up to in the last 10 days?
I have come back to a horse covered in scrapes and grazes. (only little ones) Would normally be annoyed but I'm pleased as it means he must be getting up to mischief again and that hopefully his foot's better. Workup next week.

We had invasion of the relatives for a WHOLE week but then things started to pick up and I got my new saddle after waiting for it to be made for 11 weeks.

Mrs M is ok but a bit dolally at times and has prob lost dizz to her daughter.

no carrot/spud/stig updates missed, they are all fine as far as I'm aware, stig has been v naughty,

Me- frank and I wiped out SJ last sunday, I stress fractured my radius at my elbow (but they took the cast of yesterday sio hopefully not off too long

Cheers, I'm sure your lesson will be fine. Is it jumping or flat? It's days away yet so don't wind yourseld up too much or you'll have a stomach ulcer by the time you get to it! A new saddle sounds lovely especially a made to measure one. Would love one for Archie but as he may be a field ornament soon I have been very restrained in the buying stakes recently, didn't want to buy stuff and then not be able to use it if he has to be retired.

Coming back from holiday and not being able to ride is a killer, I'm normally on board before I've unpacked, so I've decided that I am going to use the money I've saved for some lessons on a few other horses - maybe a schoolmaster. Should show up my rubbish riding! Now that's something to be nervous about.

Ouch Ester(and Frank!) poor you - lots of choccy helps with a bad arm. I hope you are waiting and not hacking out one handed like I did when I knackered my arm. I was only 16 and had just finished my GCSEs (did it 2 days after my last exam!) so had nothing else to do at the time. I think I'd know better by now. Hope you both make a good recovery soon.

not riding atm, have to keep in sling gently and move a little as comfortable then re xray in 2 weeks so can prob wait that long! just

it's flat, very flat, I'm not leaving the ground yet!!!
I've got some poles in the school and they're on the ground and that's were they're staying for now.
You see it's like this, I was out of horses for 20 years (wrong OH but now have a fab new one
laugh.gif
) and have only been hacking my old boy who is now retired for 4 years and now I've got a new one I feel it's time to progress, if you know what i mean

One jump oooops, i mean trotting pole at a time i think
