Hi i was thinking about joining the upper donside riding club?. I was just wondering if there are any members on here? Also just wanted to ask about a couple of the events comming up.

Hi Gleek, Im in nearby Upper Deeside not Upper Donside but just wanted to say Hi! Hope you are coping with the snow, on our hill I havent seen grass since mid Dec 09!

Hi i had a baby the 8th december and we have had snow on the ground since the 11th december so i feel lucky i had my son when i did! I havent even been able to try out our new pushchair!!! I even think my horses are fed up of eating hay!!! Where abouts do you live/live near? We live near Insch i keep my horses at the botto of bennachie i havent even been able to ride around it yet as i moved them the 1st december!

Another person just saying hi! Everyone I know is either Findon or Northeast, so can't help with the Donside RC situation, but hope the snow situation improves for you!

congrats on little wee one. you must wonder what you let yourself into! Im over near Aboyne but up into the foothills of the start of the Cairngorms so it dumps all the weather off the mountains onto us...nice views tho! and great hacking - when theres no snow!
your location sounds a lot more convenient for going to shows etc - if thats your thing!!....Im aiming to do some low level endurance rides but at the mo just hack with neighbours (who do endurance).
I have a 17 yo 17hh idxtb semi retired hunter and a 6yo barefoot 14.2 Haflinger mare (who I ride mainly), both are kept at home along with the sheep, geese, chickens! tell us bout your neddies!
