Hey people

I had Eowyn at her first XC last weekend and we managed a 6th place.:D

I was very pleased with her and she jumped everything I pointed her at. It was only 50cms but I wanted to do a small one it was this or 75cm but friends and RI said go to the smaller one.

Now I was thinking of entering something else with her next month sometime now should I keep it around 50cm or should I go bigger.

THis was her at the event. Not some ont he pic I am about to post I dont claim the right to although I am buying several and I credit the photographers with full rights and credit to them they were fabulous and cant wait for my prints to arrive.

If you're feeling confident and want to do it then go for it-your horse looks great and is jumping alot higher than the jumps in the pics! if your unsure stick to the same height and get even more confident and do it the time after that. Sometimes you just need someone to say 'you can do it go for it' i know im always pleased when I do :)

I reckon if you put a pic on a 75cms fence over the ones in your pic, your horse would be clearing it too - being v careful in those pics so wouldn't really have to jump higher for a bigger course! Though depends a bit on her personality I think and if she is a bit of a nervous baby, then maybe going steady would be good. But if not then I would go for the 75cm next time, looks like you will easily manage it!

Thank you!!

She was jumping way over heigh but she tends to do that even at home.

She isnt a baby but I have become less of a jumper and dont want to over face her and me and break our bond thats developing.

So maybe I should try a 75cms SJ before XC??
