Hi there,
I was wondering if any of you guys had experience with upright horses. My 3yo has been like this since a few months old. Her back feet have improved greatly and now look normal.

Her front feet however are not coming on as we would like. She has been treated buy farrier alongside a specialist farrier from day one. Xrays a year ago showed pedal bones normal position.

Her feet are tiny for her size and dont seem to be 'growing' with her. I dont have any photos atm but will get some.

My questions are, seeing as she has been treated since day one, is she likely to lead a normal ridden life and once she stops growing is she likely to improve (questioning whether her bones are outgrowing her tendons atm).

She has not been backed yet and have no intention of doing so until shes maturer and feet improved.

Thanks

Other than making sure she has required minerals and there is no deficiency [blood test possibly] I think you might have to accept this may be a genetic influence or other flaw which will not improve.
