So just now recovering from a heavy w-end of regionals. Did the freestyle Novice & the Novice.

Came 4th in the freestyle with 66.something% & tbh was very dissapointed rode my heart out & horse didnt miss a beat yet 2 of the judges didnt like. So thats that.
Prize giving was also very sedate, was quite dissapointing really lol.

So off we toddled home with a pretty 4th rossy to get some rest & do the other horses.

Sunday back up the M6 again after managing to get the others done.
Get horse in W-up & he didnt feel 100% felt slightly un-level. He slipped when getting off the lorry & we think he tweaked himself.

He worked through it & seemed perfectly level, however i could feel he wasnt quite wanting to step through in SI left & rein back was also a problem. Normally he has perfect RB.

So went in & nearly forgot test dont ask

Rein back was just terrible as horse objected like he had done in W-up.
Then to top it all off some ignorent person opened the door on the gallery as we where passing, the squeek & bang that came off it made T spook badly & change leg, so que more dropped marks & me now very mad at the people who did it.

So all in all it was terrible, came 13th but left before finnish.

I was really pleased with my boy though he was a saint to travel & do all w-end. He was just marvelous in the Freestyle i think he enjoyed it as much as i did.

So onwards we will go regardless of a crapish regionals, Ele summers next hopefully only need another win & Medium Petplans with any luck is the plan so far however havent started any mediums yet.

Lovely photo, well done, you both look very nice and smart.

My friend got 4th and 7th at Addington in the regionals, she has the final on Saturday. Good luck Sue and to all whom are participating. I am about to lose my job but when I get another job I hope to affiliate my boy BD. We came first in an unaff. Elementary 43 on Sunday and I feel that time is ticking on and we need to affiliate quickly. One day I hope to get to the regionals so may well be competing against you in the future!!! x

Your freestyle was absolutely great! You did really, really well!! 66% is a fantastic mark at the regionals and you may well get a wildcard with that. The judges were being particularly stingey overall with very few people getting over 70% so you did really well!

The professional photos seem to be taking their time, don't they?!!

Thanks Booboos, was great to see you again. Don't think a WC will be coming my way tbh you really need a very high 60's.

Yes the photo's seem to be taking forever, they have thousands to put on though.

Re photos, you might be better off calling Ken (Ettridge) as he often doesn't put pics online (usually I buy at the event at the computer in the canteen).

If he knows you want to buy he will put up those that relate to you........

Great result in the freestyle...

I also wanted to say that I thought the prize giving was pretty poor. I watched the AM as my friend was placed and it was all just a bit of a flop! Especially compared to the summers which have a bit more about them
