Took my yearling for a little walk up our private drive and round one of the bends came a spaniel barking at us, lady walker took a while to appear and it took her a while to get it under control. She got the right hump because I called it a horrible doggie in a nice voice just to distract my yearling from the situation. Luckly Summer was very good and hopefully it all counts as training for the future!
The drive is a bridlepath and I thought I was very polite considering. Just thought I would share and I was pleased with Summer for just accepting it.

Thanks monkeybum(love the name) yes I used it as part of her training by spending time talking to humpy woman and her friend ready for if I take her to a show.

brill day for you then hobo :) best thing you can do is get them out for a stroll and let them see and experience - did with daughters first pony - she was week old he was year old shettie so child in sling (on father ) me with pony and off we would go - as time went on had some great picnics and bomb proof pony - actually broke him to drive to - totally bomb proof lol
