Hi All

My 21yr old TB is currently stabled (since Thursday last week) due to sore feet and mud fever. He normally copes well being stabled but his poo is very loose with lots of water which is very unusual. He seems fine in himself and I haven't changed anything. He is fed ad lib haylage as usual (I have swapped 1 net for hay to see if this helps) He is not outwardly stressy but I noticed his tummy was very grumbly last night which is unusual.
Any advice as i've never had to deal with this! Bad feet and mud fever yes, but not poorly tummy! :D

I have had exactly the same with my TB who had to be in last week, I did use Happy tummy charcoal which helped , but it is a bit better now he is out again, so I wonder if it was stress related, being in all the time!

This awful weather is playing havoc with many horses stomachs, so just get something to support the tummy and as soon as the better weather comes along I am sure things will get better, if not speak with the vet.
