Back from Upton House - how nice it was to finally get another run! Apart from a few showers it was nice and sunny

Hen went well, finished 10th in PNRF. As you'd expect was quite a competitive section. Did 32 dressage which I was happy with, couple of mistakes, but on the whole I was pleased with her. 1 down SJ, but there weren't that many clears so was happy enough with that, she jumped well, just tipped the in of the double and went clear xc inside the time. Not sure how many qualify for finals? Anyone know?

Need to know soon though because if not qualified then I will enter ALW PN and ballot for that is next Wednesday!

I did get some pics, but not got them on PC yet, owner has them at the moment!

Which section was it ,results are up and if there were 40 starters then you will have qualified but if your horse is Heaven sent[ love the name] there were 32 starters ,so only 8 will go through.I THINK.SORRY

Yes I saw that, oh well! We gave it our best shot! Would have been 6th without that damn pole down!

Heaven Sent - owner named her! She bred her and there is a bit of a story to it!

I think there was 37 in section not sure how many starters, Cass and Louis was in the section and she said before she left it would be top 8 but she could be wrong.

I just looked up the section on BE site, Only 32 starters so 8 go through I think, but best check with BE to be sure.

Well done for 10th in hot section

I was there to, finished eleventh i think in PNRF as well, bit annoyed having one pole down as well but ow well. Annoyed though couldnt walk sj as was doing dress when second course walk. XC was quite tough but better than last year i thought.

i saw your SJ round Mel, it was really nice!
& well done with 10th

shame about the double

i finished 22nd in the Under21 PN...ooops!!

had a FAB dressage - 28.5, think i was joint 4th after that then 16 faults SJ

& a bucket full of time faults XC, but clear.
poor pepper's little legs wouldn't go fast enough up & down all the hills!

but still very proud of my little boy as it's his best dressage score BE & they weren't scoring particularly high in my section!

Well done for your dressage - most impressive! It was very hilly xc I was quite impressed that Hen made the time she was full of running, but after the double of hayracks I got lost galloping over the side of that hill! No idea where I was going! Came over the top of the hill behind the fence judges! Had to do a bit of a wiggle!

I did exactly the same!!!

when we were walking it, my mum & i were both wondering what line to take..but there wasn't really a line at all - no trees aor anything to aim for

because i thought i kept quite a straight line & then ended up by the judges' car & pepper was very forgiving & jumped it at a slight angle!

i also thought it was a strange line from 7 to 8(the steps)
took abit of a jink there too, that will have lost us a couple of seconds...woops!
