Urgent advice needed for ill pony please...

Update- shes been diagnosed with septicemia, very poorly pony, she had a very high temperature and is now hooked up on a drip and has been for the last day or so, is eating and drinking, but vet says that it is 50/50. Trying to stay positive but vet is coming out tomorrow to decide what to do..

All good vibes much appreciated, she is too special to us for us to let her go without doing everything we can regardless of the costs :(

poor pony - everthing crossed for a full and speedy recovery - if good vibes would do it I am sure that this lot on the forum would have her better in hours.

Thinking of you x

Please if she hasn't got better call vet out , I had to have vet out tonight for my 2 yr tonight with same reactions
She has colic !!!

My mare had septicemia at the age of 23, she made a full recovery, even though she was at one stage looking like it was time to call it a day. If yours is eating, then that is a very positive sign, mine didn't eat for a week, until her temperature came right down and even then, she was only interested in grass really. Do the vets have any idea what has caused it? Mine was enteric, through her intestine wall, we believe due to a course of antibiotics.
All the best for your pony.
