Hi everyone bare with me this is a long one basically been on a yard five years the tenneant of the yard has become very intimidating an nasty come at me when I'm on my own we have 16 horses due to an argument between my daughter and his managers daughter we got notice they wanted her gone more or less straight away and told me 24march but as we have so many would extend to 21 April so my daughter left with 5 on Friday as she was taking all her water feeders down she bought and lights etc he came saying there on his property your not taking them she spent hundred fitting them an putting lights up etc that wasn't there originally she even bought cheap ones to replace as a good will long story he rang police and blocked us in police came basically told him he was an idiot go back in the house as she had reciepts and to unblock cars an wagon he unblocked car and said I'm not the wagon when police had gone. So all day he came back goading her but she didn't bite police said record on your phone if he comes near he was even more angry he'd lost. So she's gone leaving me to find somewhere for mine he's now come an said as of the trouble which there wasn't it was him kicking off I have to go by weekend of his manager is taking my horses I'm desperately looking but extremely hard to find somewhere in a couple of days for so may can any one tell me how I stand legally with written notice till April can he changed it to a couple of days? In the past he's said he will tie people horse outside his gate so I'm extremely worried any advice would be very much appreciated thanks in advance

Where you stand legally and where you stand with an irrational owner with a personal vendetta are two different things sadly.

The police will likely see it as a civil matter so will only get involved to stop physical harm being done to people.

I would just focus on moving your horses to a new location very quickly.

Hi and welcome.
If you are a member of BHS use their legal line.
If he is the tennant, who owns the land, could you approach them. But I agree with the others to obviously move them asap. When have you paid the field rent up to, if he has accepted it until April surely that is contractual.?
