My cat accidentally ate one Marbocyl 20mg tablet (antibiotic). Mum reckons no need to worry, just keep an eye. Anyone know for sure?
ETS i know general advice is to call the vets, typically its a sunday night, but i will if necessary, just dont want to overreact!

Thanks all, rang OOH - within safe dosage limits so should be fine but keep an eye out for symptoms. Cat seems fine so not too worried. Glad I rang though! :)

Tiddlypom, we have tried and failed for SIXTEEN years to give our cats pills, they would spit them across the room then attempt to kill us, hold them in their mouths for ages, you name it - a number of years ago one cat needed a course of pills which ended up with my parents taking her to the vet every day for two weeks for an injection instead (even the vet can't give them a pill). But somehow one today decided on an unusual snack! I think it's because the dog tablets generally have a nice taste...
