Urgent: Dog just ate pop sock

Also posted in AAD but my dog just ate an ankle high pop sock about 10 minutes ago! Does she need to go to the vets or should I just wait and see if she passes it?

My retriever eats socks/pants/ soft toys and manages to sick them back up..
My former lab used to eat similar (I do feed them well honest) and they passed through him.
I would keep an eye on what comes up/out over the next couple of days, it will likely reappear...(I'm assuming you won't wish to ever wear it again)
 
Thanks for the replies. I spoke to two vets and each of them said the opposite, with one saying they needed to see her to check if they needed to make her throw up and the other saying to keep an eye on her and she should pass it. In the past we had a dog eat a duster but it was a much larger dog and as you say noodle a much less stretchy material! So I am at a loss at what to do....
 
Spoke to the vets again and they said because of the stretchy material they were worried about it in the intestine etc and so we took her in so they could make her vomit and she is now happy and sock free!

I had a dog stay with me once who eat a sock that was abit like tight material but came upto the knee. I only discovered this when I had to help remove it from him from the back end. He once ate a stretchy bandage and he sicker that back up again
