Hi.

Does anyone have any recommendations for dentists in Leicestershire. I have a pony that is not eating, had bloods done etc. My dentist can't come out till Saturday but really think that this is too long.

Need to rule out cracked teeth etc...

Dentist needs to be good with nervous ponies...

Ummm he's not in ur area but i think he travels from Lincs. Try looking at James Arkleys website, vvvv good and is also very experienced rider/intructor.
 
Shane Kitching has a lovely way with horses and is a very good EDT.
If you need dental work doing urgently, it might be quickest to use your vet so pony can eat, then follow up with your dentist.
 
HR - Thanks for your "helpful suggestion" - NOT!!!! If you read my original post you would see that the pony HAS BEEN SEEN BY THE VET!!! - Bloods taken etc... Sorry - very rarely get ticked off but.....!!!

I am asking cos I need an emergency dentist at the SUGGESTION OF THE VET!!!!

I know several vets who are experienced in horse dentistry, if your vet couldn't check themselves to notice a problem with the teeth then I am surprised. The majority of vets I have used do dentistry themselves also. So not quite so much need to snap people's heads off...

If you haven't found one already try David Waters, he is very good, but may not be able to fit you in at short notice.
 
I used Kevin Hallet..

My vet, Simon Turner at Chine House is also an experienced dentist if any help..
