Urgently needed. Does anyone have a mare suitable to foster a 1 month old foal? Mare has just had to be pts. West Country best as foal is in Cornwall.

cant help with mare but good luck with everything, we had an orphaned foal a couple of years ago, found a foster are but the are decided to nearly die due tocomplications with her own brth so had to rear the foal by hand anyway. Its hard but do-able. feel free to pm if you need any answers etc.

Yes, I know they are offering but have pm'd and also asked admin to contact them but still no reply. Presume they aren't reading this and must be settled with another foal.
And as I said, foal bank has already been contacted.

Thanks will do. I contacted someone who was on Facebook but their mare's milk has now dried up as she lost her foal 10 days ago.

Hi just read this my mare lost her foal last wednesday night & was offered on here and to the foaling bank at the time but I'm sorry her
Milk has now dried up !! Have you tried foster foal on Facebook?? Good luck I hope you find a mare we would have loved to help xx

Thanks to all for help and info. Foal now drinking from a bucket ( guidance from Foal Bank) so no mare needed now.
