Our Yard owners have a firework party in the paddock about 30 ft from the stables one of the grandsons only gets the ones that go bang, they even have two ponies of their own, how sensible is that!! I sedated my lad with sedaline last year but being in the box with him seemed to help the most, agree music can help, he digs up his bed when stressed.
 
Pity he didn't tell you all a couple of weeks earlier and you could have put her on Calm or is it Karma?? the liquid stuff or a pair of the horse ear plugs they use on race horses to block out the noise at the races
