Hi

I have found a female dog running round in my garden. She has a collar but no ID on it.

I can't keep it here as I have two dogs of my own and they are not getting on.

I'm in Manchester - any ideas what I can do?

Ring the dog warden, police, doglost, local vet. I'm sure someones probably missing her and reported her missing.

There is likely to be an out of hours dog warden, we have one, or at least we have a very useful kennel that help the dog warden out - and they come and get it any time.

Have you not got a garage/spare room it can stay in the am til the morning? x

Found the out of hours dog warden services. They will try and come tonight. It's just difficult to have a strange dog with eight cats and two dogs of my own. She's really a lovely dog - very friendly and obedient

I'm not brilliant with dog breeds but she looks like a staffie to me and an older one at that.

Well done for getting it sorted - I agree, I have been lucky enough to always have an outside garage, where I have put my many strays til the warden comes :) but I agree, it sets mine off like billy-o!

No - she's Tan. i can't see anything on dogslost. Such a shame - she's a real sweetie but my dogs won't let her in the room. I'm on my own. If the girls were here we would try introducing them - but I don't want to put myself in the middle of a dog fight by being daft. She's in the study at the moment.
