URGENT HELP needed please any ideas :(

Haven't read all posts so apologies, if already surgested, My friend swears by neem oil, on the body and neem leaf in the feed, I think i have seen it on ebay, but just google it.:)
 
Hi - whenever my horse has had a steroid injection, my vet has also given me a course of steroid tablets to follow. Unfortunately there is a huge no. of small tablets to feed for a week which gradually reduces over about three weeks. Unfortunately there is the potential side effect of laminitus with these drugs so my vet is reluctant to prescribe them although to be fair my horse was absolutely fine. I have found that this has got my horse over the worst of the midges early in the year. We live in a flat, bogey area and the midges seem to be at their worse at the start of the spring until everything completely dries out.
