Urgent help please - show tomorrow....

Hi I'm taking my palomino QHx filly to an in-hand show tomorrow the classes are foreign breed & coloured (both youngstock) - should I plait or leave her gorgeous golden locks flowing?!

(Have also asked in CR but more people visit here!).

Think part breds are generally shown plaited

Plaited.
Unless you have a breed that does not require plaiting under breed regs (eg, heavy native ponies) then you should plait.

That said, if its youngsters 1st outing & you think that plaiting might be an ordeal, then go au-naturel for this time & then practice at home till all goes well for you.

Thanks, but oh dear wrong answer as I can't plait! Will practice on the dog tonight! Filly's mane is lovely and long so I could try a running plait.

running plait is fine for local shows as long as your hair gel down wispy bits I cant plait either lol!
