Urgent Homes Needed for Rescue Dogs

Received the following from the Eastern Region of The Countryside Alliance yesterday - can anyone help?

"Sara Collins is a dog breeder who lives in Lincolnshire. She is desperately seeking homes for five rescue dogs. Her landlord sadly died and she has been give notice to leave her house. She is looking for a very understanding dog friendly rented house but so far she has been unsuccessful. As a result the following dogs, which Sara took in, need homes URGENTLY:
Great Dane
Aurora is a Great Dane, she is a black harlequin mismark, she will be 2years old in September.
Collie/Rottweiler cross
Passion is a very soft, lovely little dog, very gentle and loving, she is 1 year old. Passion was dumped on a housing estate in Hull at 2/3 days old and Ambere (Sara's daughter) has hand reared her. She has a collie coat but Rottweiler markings.
Labrador
Maddison is a Labrador bitch around about 2 years old. She needs training and at the moment has a short attention span! It is thought that at some point in her life has been beaten.
They also have a black Chihuahua and a Chihuahua x Yorkshire terrier. Please contact Sara for their description.

What a sad situation. I'm too far away to help but I do hope Sara manages to find homes. Has she thought about asking friends to foster them until she can find the right place to move to?
 
Why doesn't she contact the official Great Dane Rescue re. the Dane?
I'm sure they would be able to help & would be able to place the bitch with Dane knowledgeable people?
That would be one less at least!
 
have I got this right ?..she's a dog breeder in rented accomodation who has also taken on 5 rescues ? ...what about the dogs she breeds from ? are they going with her ? ....bit baffled by this post ....seeems a tad short sighted to be breeding and taking in large numbers of dogs when you are entirely at the mercy of your landlord ...or is it just me ???

No milor, not just you but I've heard this type of story so many times over the years, i didn't feel like writing a reply the length of War & Peace about it! lol
