I've just found this on the OE foum

Jamie Gray is appearing at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, Friday 11th April at 10am.

Following the unsuccessful attempt by a member of the Gray family to remove equines from a sanctuary today, Jamie Gray is appealing for the immediate return of the 29 equines he described in court as his 'pets'.

If anyone can get to the Royal Courts of Justice to protest outside at 10am tomorrow, please, please do so. It is short notice, but if anyone wants to make their presence felt in support of the Amersham horses, this is their opportunity to do so.

A peaceful demonstration with banners and placards is welcome. And if you can get any media involved please use your contacts and do so.

I will try and get there. Whether I can make any posters or banners is another matter. We can listen to the hearing as well, and find out what's going on.

Just to check before I embark on a trip to London.
How did this appointment at the RCofJ become known. It seems very short notice for a hearing, if, as it implies, it's a result of his actions today, which I would have thought would have meant him going to a Magistrates Court again, rather than the Royal Courts of Justice. I'll be there but would like confirmation that JG will be too!

Rana, As you can see there's some doubt as to whether JG is due to appear at the High Court. CHeck further in the morning but inclined to save the effort for 28th April.

Just foundthis on another page of thisforum. "It is true apparantly and his barrister is at the high court in London tomorrow to try and obtain the immediate return of the 29 'pets' "

That's not helpful. We have long journeys to make at short notice in support of this campaign and confirmation that JG is due to appear would be nice.

Sorry it was a joke! That doesn't mean that I am taking people's time being wasted lightly. The info I have posted was taken from another forum. They are now not sure if the court hearing on the 11th is actually genuine so I am repeating that information. Perhaps if someone actually gets confirmation they will post and inform us all of the facts.

What will the outcome of this hearing mean?

I cant see how they managed to get it to the High Court so quickly and there is still nothing showing on the court lists!

Anyone heard anything different?

Anyone can get a case heard in the RC of J!

The legal team just makes an application! And can do this as late as they like!

Look at when Police arrest and charge people-they appear the next morning in Court!

As in this case the 'pets' have already been ruled by a istrict Judge to be returned to the family and they tried to get them back yesterday, a High Court Judge is required to rule on the orginial decision last week to give the 'pets' back in 14 days.

The Judge can rule roday that the animals must be IMMEDIATELY given back.

It apears that this court case is true.

(edited original post to protect source)

.... There is an injunction at the High Court at 10am this morning representing the RSPCA to stop the horses being auctioned. There are two fantastic barristers on the case... will let you know what happens when I hear.

oh crikey, if that is the case then I really hope they succeed, perhaps the rumours were a bit wrong and JG is going to defend this application rather than going to ask for their immediate return - perhaps this is also WHY he tried to take some back yesterday!

that is the email for the original judge, this will not be anything to do with him if it is being heard in London.. Hopefully in just a few minutes we will find out that all our efforts have worked

More news...

It's court 37 in the High Court. It won't be on the listings for obvious reasons. One of the barristers on the case is a massive horse person so she will be doing ALL she can. The other barrister is a top QC so they have a good chance I think.

Hi Equineonline can you go back to to where you found the original post and ask the person to verify their information and facts.
Thanks
