I live in Wychnor and work on the Centrum 100 park in Burton on Trent.

Can anyone suggest a yard nearby with the following:

School (doesn't matter indoor/ outdoor)
Safe and decent hacking (pref bridleways, fields and not restricted to lanes etc)
Riding instructor on site
Lots going on. Doesn't have to be a competition yard, but good social/ educational/ regular events sort of thing
Offers DIY with option of extras like turn out/ bring in/ hold for farrier etc
Under £30 pwk (can stretch to £35 if it's amazing)

I have already discounted:
Eland Lodge (too expensive)
Horsepower Equestrian (too expensive)
Castle View Stud (too expensive)
Fullbrook farm - no spaces
Botany Bay (too quiet)
Fox Meadow Equestrian (no hacking)

Ideal sort of place would be just like Curborough Equestrian (no spaces booo :()

I already have the option of using a paddock where I live, but i lose motivation easily so want a busy yard with good facilities and good hacking. Unfortunately that puts me into the ridiculous price range which i just can't afford.

Ideal areas would be Wychnor, Barton, Alrewas, Streethay, Anslow, and Stretton.

I need to move by the end of Jan

Thanks Ali :D

I just spotted Hargate equestrian too, thanks to a poster on this site, and am going to see them tomorrow. They sound just what I'm looking for, but a bit far out. Anyone know them?

There is also Poplars Farm in Anslow which has a fab x country ride however they had no vacancies in the summer. I know three people at my old yard who are on the waiting list for curborough. There is brookhouse equestrian near hill ridware but their hacking is just lanes. There is yard at captains lane in Barton, but would have to ride through the village to get to Dunstall estate. have to say that my yard has the best hacking in the area.
