Urgent lorry selling ideas please

Have come to a crunch point with insurance running out and overwhelming formalities here, so am driving the lorry back to the UK on Monday or Tuesday to sell. Has anyone ever sold to the person who advertises in H&H each week based in herts? Or even better know someone who buys old lorries in Kent?! It's a 7.5t Ford Cargo, 20 years old, body about 14 years old, MOT til October, tax til July. Many thanks in advance.

The guy in Herts would only give you scrap money; he's great to go to for parts if you're working on a lorry though!

And what would scrap money be?! Really don't know myself. Crazypony - depending on where you, an offer higher than scrap money! Bear in mind I'll arrive at Dover.....

Not being funny, but if it's a 20 year old Cargo with a 14 year old body is it really worth driving it all the way back as you wont get much for it from a dealer....

Drive it to the UK and stick it on eBay with some decent pictures - if you don't have feedback or an account yourself cosy up to a friend who will sell it for you. Be brutally honest about it and if it is halfway decent you might still get £2000 + for it

Well I can't get rid of it here, which is why Kent is the preferred option! Someone near Ebbsfleet - then I can jump on the eurostar straight home!

Scrap prices fluctuate daily, but last week it was close to £150 per ton.
