Please can everyone out there in Norfolk (East Dereham area) look for a really, really nervous black greyhound. He is a rescue dog who is a very panicky individual, and must be hungry and exhausted. He went missing on wednesday afternoon and could have travelled a considerable distance despite desperate searching. He is microchipped, if found please contact Kerry Greyhounds.

I'll keep an eye out, have asked my colleagues to as well. What is his name? Is he wearing a collar / coat - any distinguishing marks at all?
 
I saw your dog in the EDP and will keep my eyes peeled when walking mine (about 10 mins from Dereham). I am happy to put some posters in the shops locally if you have any.
 
Thank you so much everyone - yes, we have alerted local farmers and had a call this morning to say that he had been seen near North Tuddenham. His name is King, he doesn't really have any distinguishing features and is wearing a collar. He is desperately nervous and will probably run away if approached, but does like cheese! We are out there searching and thanks again to everyone who is keeping an eye open for him.

a friends whippet was stolen and within a week with lots of posters sent out and reported they found her

so hope this will be a happy ending aswell
 
Safely home! Spent the week following up sightings around the same area of Norfolk and finally managed to locate him. Thanks to everyone who helped in the search and especially Kerry Greyhounds for fantastic help and support. So great to have a happy ending!
