Urgent passport ???question???

I seem to have lost Bruce's passport. I have emailed the Rhienland studbook and waiting for a reply. Hopefully they can help - I have 2 questions.

Firstly, if god forbid I have to move him without a passport, such as for the vet, what do I do?

Secontly will they just re-issue a passport? I have sent them photographs of him and as much as I can remember from his passport - but what happens if they dont re-issue? Can I register him with another studbook, such as the AES?

ALSO - if they do re-issue, is it possible to get the passport overstamped by say, the AES, so I deal with people the UK?

Have you got the numbers from the passport written down somewhere? I can't imagine they'd have any photo records to compare to, tbh.

You only need a passport to travel when you are competing, exporting, sending for slaughter and there might be another one, but I've forgotten (helpful, I know!). Ahh - stud! ETS: and selling!

It's not a problem for vets, hacking, schooling, lessons etc.
 
I know they wont have photos, but I do know that they will have his markings on a diagram...

Argh! What a nightmare!

So if I need to box him to the vet then I should be OK? It will be just my blinking luck.
 
They should be able to find his records if you have given them his registered name, with any supporting info to confirm. They should issue a new pasport which will be marked 'DUPLICATE'. There is normally a £10 -£20 fee for this. You cannot get another Passport from anywhere else for him. (well, you can, but it's illegal)
