Our two ponies have just been wormed, with Equest paramox, and we have just noticed that it says on the packet do not turn out for 3 days after worming.Does anyone know if this is crucial? We have slight problems, with stabling, but it is possible if truly nessecary!

thanks in advance!

I worm with Equest and Equest Pramox, and have never taken a blind bit of notice of that.

One of mine is blind and can't come in at all - she's not dead yet after five years with me ignoring that rule. Don't worry about it, chuck them out.

I have never seen that? People do keep in after worming but never have. I just poo pick and all worm counts have always been fine!

I poo pick daily, but have recently wormed all mine with that wormer and they are out 24/7, and they are all still alive ;)
What a stupid instruction?!

The ponies will be fine. The packet tells you not to due to potential damage the excretement can cause to flora in the field.
