Urgently needing DIY livery - Northants (also in SY)

Our yard is no longer 'doing' grass livery, and so out of the blue today I (along with a few others) got given 30 days notice!! and as theres no available stables I cant even swap on to DIY etc.

I have a cob who is on box rest and does need to be stabled and a TB whos currently living out, and willl live in/out would consider anything! DIY/or grazing on a yard or privately, but cant really afford part or full livery charges.

Im just outside of Thrapston in East Northants.

Sorry Blinky not sure what you mean?!? In terms of time - I need it sooner rather than later really, my stabled cob can stay as long as he likes as hes not on grazing livery, I do have a friend who can temporarily house the TB but I want to get moved and settled somewhere, in terms of distance on location, as close to home as poss, but will travel, I live in NN14 area if that helps? does that answer your questions :S
 
Ah sorry, I was in a rush typing a reply lol. Just meant diatance wise from you lol, how far you'd want to travel.

I used to live NN14 in Rothwell, have the numbers of a coupleof livery yards there if that's any good, though may bit a bit far away for you. One's very very basic but is fairly cheap [grass school, few jumps, 24/7 grazing and stabling, ok hacking], second has better facilities [outdoor school], so-so hacking, better fields but limited turnout during winter months and slightly more pricey.
Couple of others in Rushton and Desborough....one just outside of Kettering too my friend's at, which has 24/7 turnout I think plus stables and fairly cheap too.

I live near Thapston, but work in Kettering so whilst I'd love them to be closer to home Im not really in a position to be too picky

Where abouts is your friend? kettering would be better but would consider Rushton too

I'm on a fab yard on northants/leics border, about 5 miles away from Kettering, would that be any good? Excellent hacking, american barn stables, hay/straw inc, outdoor school, good turnout and there are vacancies.

Hi Lexibell - I think my friend Natalie has PM'd you already but I thought I'd post something here.

We have two livery spaces at our yard near Sharnbrook. Large stables, all year turnout, big menage and off road hacking.

Discount for more then one horse.

DIY £20 per week
Part Livery - £50 per week
 
Whereabouts in Northants are you? Try looking on www.wellandvalleyfeeds.co.uk or going to Blue Barns (Collins Petfoods) in Hardingstone or Tower Farm Rugby to see what's around.

Once people know which part of Northamptonshire you are in you should get some more help.

As this is such an old thread might be worth putting a new one up?
