My horse is camping at my Best Friends yard....she has just called me, laughing hysterically, saying that she is hacking him and it is just like riding a giraffe!

I mean, HOW rude is that? and I am paying for this !

Every time she has to duck for a branch he is stopping and putting his head up and eating the tree - whilst she is still stuck under the branch....clever boy!

Bruce has never hacked in the woods before, clearly he thinks it is great with all this food about....!


Do you recon I should complain to the BHS?!?!?! Cheeky mare my best friend....

(The reason I got her to hack him is becasue he is quite tall and I wanted to see if he got stuck in the briidleway or not...so not entirely innocent!)

I wouldnt bother - people call my pony allsorts - like if she was human she would be vicky pollard!! And some are having a laugh but others just say stuff to put you down as they have horses they cant ride/scared of/ horrid. I Let it go and maybe your horse was trying to pull the branches off the trees so you can ride him as you are so tall!! Bless

Its a bit better than my friend who announced the other day while I was disagreeing with her about feeding 'But you haven't got a proper horse....you've got a James!' So I've told her that I'm considering re writing the manual of horsmanship to the 'Manual of Jamemanship', for all of us with slightly 'odd' horses!!!!
