Urghhh! Bob and Minstrel found a new game

Took Bob and Minstrel (sisters springer) out yesterday and Minstrel came back with a dead bunny :-( He then proceeded to tease Bob with it....Bob was running after him as fast as his tiny legs would let him. When he finally did they decided Tug of War with the poor thing was a great game! Urggh!
Minstrel won the game, both dogs went on the lead and we carried on UNTIL i foolishly let Bob off a bit soon and the hooligan turned around and shot straight back to the rabbit....i couldnt get near him as he discovered the delicacy that is fresh rabbit.

On a good note he was quite well behaved in training friday night....but of course there were no rabbits to distract him!

Mills has started this game too!
She chased me around a field with a pigeon carcass in her caker. Every time she ran the wind would catch the wings and they would open!!!
Two days ago she climbed inside the body of a goose and then jumped in the pond after a dead carp.
She has also played tug of war with a rat and a lab. It was great till they both pulled in different directions and the rat split open spraying all and sundry with intestines-not a day I would care to repeat!

Mine to like the crunchy, petrified and really minging carcasses but any will do...........

Rabbits, hare, pheasant, partridge and fox killed chicken to date...........

Oooooh remembering the day we walked the spangle with stonking hangovers.... A putrifying (sp?!) hare was found and ripped to pieces by Madam and a friend's collie. Dead bits of hare hit me and OH square in the face. Needless to say...

So Bob and Minstrels adventure sounds quite tame!!!
It was the tryin to catch Bob once he had hold of bunny that was biggest problem.....couldnt get near him until he had eaten fair bit of it....at least it was fresh i guess!
