Urticaria on dog's head

Poor Nox came out in a very strange swelling and rash yesterday on the back of her head. Swelling goes right across the back of her skull from ear to ear, with lots of little scabs under the fur across the whole area.

Have applied soothing cream, and it's not distressing her in any way. Looks like some kind of allergic reaction. No dietary changes, and she hasn't been stung that we have noticed.
Anybody seen anything similar?

When I brought home my schnauzer pup,she had tiny crusty lumps on her head..they turned out to be caused by mites..
I first used a generic shampoo for parasites,as she was so young,but later used frontline when she was old enough to tolerate it.
I would get a vet to look at the skin..maybe do a scrape if it doesn’t resolve .
If it’s just on her head she’s probably got into something(eg nettles etc)
id give one bentelan…or similar…
but don’t second guess..if it persists a vet will prescribe a med more specific for the condition,if it’s not resolved i the next day .

Have just worked it out. It was an allergic reaction to a fly spray.
