Not a good thing !
Not a good thing !
Blimey, Bruce Springsteen is interested in horses. Didn't know even though he's one of my music idols.
Is your comment meant to be relevent in some way ?
It seems Bellissimo is a brash, ruthless, American businessman (so what's new?)
Is yours?
I'm sorry you took offence. The remark was more to question the implication that Bellissimo's brashness or ruthlessness should have any bearing on whether the sale of The Chronicle is a good or a bad thing. I am sure some great businesses are owned by people like that. Also, I wasn't casting aspersions on American businessmen (or even all businessmen) - brash and ruthless could accurately describe a subset of businessmen of most any nationality. As an American, I take umbrage to that remark! Bellissimo may very well be brash and ruthless, but your "so what's new?" comment is tarring all American businessmen with the same brush.
Oh dear, and then what would happen? (Of course, I would never do that!)Try repeating that to my American husband, a very well-respected, courteous, honest businessman!
It is possible that we are considered infra dig - I hope not.Me too..looks like we may not get an answer though
